Our highly experienced and fully qualified instructors will guide you safely across the ridge, allowing you to relax and enjoy every moment while we handle navigation and decision-making. All our guides are certified Mountain Leaders (or above) and bring years of mountain-guiding experience, ensuring a safe and unforgettable day.
Your day begins in Llanberis at the Mountain Railway station. After meeting your guide, we’ll take a bus up to Pen y Pass to start the journey. We typically descend via the Llanberis Path, returning you to your car or public transport.
Safety is our priority. In certain weather conditions, Crib Goch may become unsafe to attempt. If this happens, we’ll provide an alternative scramble, so your day remains exciting and memorable.

All participants must be aged 18 or over! 16+ are allowed when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Ability Level
To attend this day you will need some previous hillwalking and scrambling experience with a few grade 1 scrambles under your belt. If you don’t have any experience why not join our Introduction to Scrambling course in Snowdonia to gain more confidence on this type of terrain.
Fear of heights
Most people have a fear of heights and our instructors are trained to give you coping strategies and improve your confidence. You can expect to receive plenty of coaching on footwork, and tips for moving over steep ground which will improve your confidence throughout the day.
